Sauna & Cold Plunge FAQs

Welcome to our sauna and cold plunge space. To help everyone have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience, we’ve put together some frequently asked questions and house guidelines.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing 2 towels. One towel to sit on in the sauna, and one towel for showering afterwards. You should also bring water. Hydration is essential before, during and after your session. Sauna and cold plunge sessions can be intense on the body, so drink plenty of water throughout your visit.

Why do I need two towels?

One towel is used as a hygienic barrier between you and the sauna benches. The second towel is for drying off after showering. This helps maintain cleanliness for all users and keeps the space comfortable and fresh.

Do I need to shower between the sauna and cold plunge?

Yes. Please shower after using the sauna and before entering the cold plunge. This helps rinse off sweat from the sauna, keep the cold plunge water clean, and prepare your body safely for the temperature change.

Why is showering before the cold plunge important?

Moving from heat to cold is a powerful physiological shift. Showering in between helps regulate your transition, improves hygiene, and ensures a better experience for everyone sharing the plunge.

How many people are allowed per session?

To keep the space comfortable and uncrowded, we allow a maximum of 4 people per hourly slot. This ensures a calm and relaxed environment, enough space for safe movement, and a better overall experience for everyone.

Should I remove jewellery?

Yes. Please remove all jewellery before entering the sauna. Metal can heat up quickly and may become uncomfortably hot or even cause burns. It’s safest to leave jewellery in your belongings during your session.

Can I bring essential oils or scents into the sauna?

No. Please do not bring oils, fragrances or essential oils into the sauna. These can trigger allergies or sensitivities in other users, damage sauna materials, and disrupt the shared environment. We ask all guests to be considerate and keep the space neutral for everyone.

Is hydration really that important?

Yes — water is key. Both sauna heat and cold immersion place stress on your cardiovascular system. Staying well hydrated helps your body regulate temperature, maintain energy levels, and recover properly after contrast therapy. We recommend drinking water before you arrive, between rounds and after your session.

Any final etiquette reminders?

To keep the space enjoyable for all guests, please arrive on time for your slot, respect the 4-person limit, keep noise to a minimum, be mindful of shared space and cleanliness, and follow the sauna → shower → cold plunge flow.
